Dr. Chandrakant K is a highly qualified gastroenterologist with over 8 years of experience across premier medical institutions in India. He completed his MBBS from Guntur Medical College, followed by an MD in General Medicine from GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry, and a DNB in Medical Gastroenterology from the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad. He further pursued a Fellowship in Advanced ERCP and EUS, equipping him with specialised skills in complex endoscopic procedures.
He began his career as a senior resident and subsequently served as an assistant professor in Medicine at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati, before transitioning to gastroenterology practice. He has held Consultant Gastroenterologist positions at Aryavart Hospitals, Meerut; Medicover Hospitals, Nellore; Nagarjuna Hospitals, Vijayawada; and Fortis Hospitals, Cunningham Road, Bangalore. He is currently working as Consultant Gastroenterologist at Vikram Aura Hospital, Bangalore.
Dr. Chandrakant is proficient in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, EUS, ERCP, Variceal Banding, Sclerotherapy, Glue Injection, Polypectomy, PEG tube placement, NJ tube placement, and haemostatic procedures. He also has an active research interest in gut microbiota in pancreatitis.
