Head and Neck Oncology: Specialist and experienced in managing oral cancer and salivary gland tumour(Composite resections, wide excisions for oral cancer, glossectomy, Neck dissections, Maxillectomy, Parotidectomy etc) Emergency and elective tracheostomy.

Thyroid and larynx cancer with voice rehabilitation and replacement(TEP, electrolarynx etc) Local and regional flap reconstruction Palliative care in head and neck.


Key Achievement

  • Faculty in multiple international and national Conferences.
  • Running initiatives in the areas of self-help, rehabilitation, awareness and support for post laryngectomy patients (Laryngectomee Society) at Apollo Hospitals for 6 years.
  • Conducted awareness programmes in several schools and communities on cancer prevention and ill effects of Tobacco attempting to curb the problem of Oral cancer at the grassroots level in Silchar, Assam.
  • Organised multiple workshops on voice rehabilitation and robotic surgery. Been a part of organising team for international head and neck oncology conference at Chennai.
